The story behind Dissertation Reviewer

Built from experience.
For the next person
doing the work.

A dissertation is a substantial piece of scholarship. Keeping track of how to revise it should feel more manageable.

I know what it takes to get to the next draft.

My background brings together education, technology, and the practical work of helping people navigate complex processes. I’ve taught adult learners, led technology and support initiatives, and completed a doctorate in educational leadership.

Working through my own dissertation brought those experiences together in a very personal way. The writing demanded focus. So did interpreting requirements, tracing feedback back to a passage, and making sure a new version addressed the right things.

That experience is the reason behind Dissertation Reviewer: a workspace that keeps the manuscript, the applicable standards, and the next action connected.

The goal is clarity.

I wanted a student to be able to see the passage a finding refers to, understand where a requirement comes from, and distinguish a document check from an AI assessment or a step that needs their own confirmation.

The product is designed to support the work of revision. It does not write your dissertation, replace your committee, or grant institutional approval. Your research and your decisions remain yours.

What guides the product

Keep the manuscript central.

The writing is the reason the workspace exists. Findings should help you return to it with a clearer next step.

Make the evidence visible.

A useful review explains what it observed and shows the source. Uncertainty should be named, not presented as a pass.

Respect the researcher.

Your judgment, your institution’s rules, and your committee’s feedback remain central to the revision process.
